A wave of joy and gratitude swept through Akwukwu-Igbo General Hospital in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday, January 30, 2025, as expectant mothers received essential maternal care supplies, courtesy of Dr. Chioma Egwuenu Dumbuya and her husband, John Dumbuya.
Through their non-profit organization, OmaJays Oasis Foundation, the couple donated free delivery mats, sanitary pads, and mosquito nets, providing much-needed support to pregnant women in the community.
While presenting the items, Matron Abigail Ezinwa expressed profound appreciation to the donors, acknowledging their continued commitment to humanitarian efforts. “This is more than just a donation; it is a lifeline for so many mothers-to-be. OmaJays Oasis Foundation has truly made a difference in the lives of our women,” she remarked.
For the beneficiaries, the act of kindness was both timely and deeply impactful. “This support means the world to us. It eases our burden and reassures us that people still care about the less privileged,” one of the expectant mothers shared emotionally.
