In line with its commitment to a cleaner environment, the Delta State Waste Management Board (DSWMB), on Friday, 7th March, 2025, carried out a litter-picking exercise along Koka, by Kwale Park, Asaba, and other adjoining areas.
The exercise, carried out under the directive of the Board Chairman, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema, was supervised by the Asaba Office Supervisor, Evelyn Orisewezie, covering major black spots along the Onitsha-Asaba-Benin Expressway and Igbuzor Road in Oshimili South Local Government Area.
The once heavily littered areas have now been cleared, giving the environment a refreshed and healthier appearance.
The DSWMB reiterated its commitment to promoting a clean, green, and sustainable environment across Delta State and urged residents to embrace proper waste disposal practices.
